No. The operator platform makes use of a hydraulic group and cylinder.

Single operator mode: One operator is handling the Hercules. When the operator places a product on the conveyor, the belt moves 80 cm forward and stops until the next product is placed on the conveyor. This is to prevent unnecessary room between products.

Multiple operator mode: Two or more operators are handling the Hercules. The conveyor belt continues to move. An operator stands at one end and picks up the products.

The cart can be powered by a drive wheel located beneath the platform. This allows the cart, along with the work platform and the uppermost conveyor belt, to move forward or backward in relation to the main cart. With the help of a lever, this drive wheel can be pressed onto the ground or lifted off it. When the drive lever is in the drive position, a spring presses the drive wheel onto the ground.

The operator platform can carry up to 175kg and a maximum of 2 persons at a time.
The conveyor belt can carry up to 30kg per meter.

The conveyor is not suitable for the following applications:

  • Transport of liquids
  • Transport of hazardous materials
  • Transport of products for consumption (unless this conveyor belt is equipped with an FDA-approved quality belt)
  • Transport of people and animals

The products are placed on or removed from the conveyor manually. This may only be done at the two outermost ends of the device. At these positions, the necessary emergency stops are also provided to immediately halt the device in case of an emergency. For a more detailed explanation, you can find and download the manual on the website.

Yes. The height of the conveyor at product removal corresponds to ergonomic guidelines. This height reduces the risk of long-term injuries from repetitive tasks. It is in the interest of the operator’s health that they are aware of the guidelines regarding ergonomic postures as described in EN ISO 11228. It is recommended to train the operator in ergonomic lifting methods and other postures. To avoid overexertion during the movement of the conveyor, assistance from a colleague can be sought. Extra caution is advised in such cases.
